Chris Farley and Phil Hartman
Their hearts were always bigger than their egos, their strive to get a laugh bigger than anything else of this Earth. What's ironic were these pictures which I have taken from Phil Hartman's departure from Saturday Night Live after eight seasons. After both of their tragic deaths, it's very difficult to view this scene from the show, and it's choked me up several times.
I only hope that the two of them have found peace, that they have moved on to a better place. We were so fortunate to see these fine comedians entertain and create laughter for years.
Phil, who was known for his great impressions and often
rye and untrue grin performed on SNL for eight years. His film credits included
Coneheads, Jingle All the Way, and the upcoming Small
Soldiers. He was also known for his roles on NBC's NewsRadio
and for his voices on FOX's The Simpsons such as Troy McClure...
Chris was an off-the-wall comedian who was always compared to his idol, John Belushi who ironically died of the same illness; substance abuse. Chris was on SNL for nine seasons and then moved on to a successful career in film with Tommy Boy, Black Sheep, Beverly Hills Ninja, and the upcoming Almost Heroes. He also had bit parts in both Wayne's World films with Saturday Night Live allumn Mike Myers.
It's almost impossible to fit in full filmographies and resumes of these fine actors in this tribute.

TO CHRIS AND PHIL
MAY YOU REST IN PEACE
