Oh boy, more cosmetic stuff done to the page. Cool lookin' eh? As always, input is welcome.

If you missed, and chances are you did, please take a look at yesterday's update. I goofed and, well it didn't go online as planned.

More to come later today. Tired- Homer sleep now ;)

Sorry for the late update, I've been screwing around all day with the stupid Superstats code, something happened, and well, let's just say that JAVA/CGI scripting is a pain in the @$$ when you don't have a reference to look at. Anyhow:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Mr. Ernie Hudson! Tough to believe that the man is 53, he looks ready to kick some head, in a spiritual sense of course. Geez, am I the only one that's ready for the release date news to break.

One of my most trusted sources is reporting that Mr. Aykroyd and Mr. Ramis have turned in the final draft of the script. Unlike the first draft, they are satisfied and no longer look at the storyline as "a disaster." The same source reports that this project might get a lot of attention since the Hollywood industry is looking more and more at their big box-office sequel producing franchises for the 1999 release season (case in point Ace Ventura, Indiana Jones, Die Hard, and last but certainly not least, Star Wars).

Not really Star Wars, but I'm in a serious 80's flashback mood, so check out the Back to the Future website, cool stuff. Plus, they're in the same boat we are in. They wait for a sequel (though there isn't a BTTF sequel in the plans... yet.)

More to come tomorrow... boy I love this daily update stuff! Don't forget to check out the news archives at the bottom of this page before you e-mail me with questions. :)

My apologies to Marla Charendoff, that link that I promised her, well I goofed and it never went online. So everyone, take a look at the Windows 95 Desktop Theme that she created in the Extreme Ghostbusters section. I'm working on a Macintosh OS8.5 Theme to work similarly to it for all my Mac guys out there (love ya all!) ;)

See Annie Potts on the Rosie O'Donnel show? She didn't talk Ghostbusters, but she sure sings a mean tune. If you missed it, I'll try to get some sound bytes for download. Speaking of download, it's been brought to my attention that the .wav sounds on the EGB media don't work unless you have an mp3 decoder, sorry for that confusion.

Why a two-day update? It's kinda late on Tuesday night, might as well make it a double shot (decaf though, the other stuff keeps me up all night).

Wanna make this X-Mas special for me? Nominate GBHQ for some awards, come on, it'll be fun. ;)

I need to clairify something. Lately, I've been helping my source disavow all the rumors which were spreading around about casting and even plot spoilers of Slimer having a voice. Unfortunatly, the webmaster of one of the GB community's fine list of sites took it to heart. I apologize if in any way this was defamating, it was was not intended to be a "throwing stone" but rather a clairifcation that the rumors were just that... rumors. My point was that it's turning into Star Wars: Episode One- everyone thinks that they know something, even if it's not true (Kenneth Branaugh as Obi-Wan being a prime example). Anyhow enough is enough- I will post what is confirmed, solid information here on GBHQ and only that. If something is an unconfirmed rumor, I will clearly mark so. 'nuff said, on with the news.

If, what Dan Aykroyd was saying at the Yahoo chat (promoting Psi-Factor) was accurate (geez, it's him you think it would be) the final draft of the Ghostbusters 3 script should be in Sony's hands in t-minus one week.

Also, reports have been coming in that some states are still airing EGB twice and even three times a week. Guess maybe that our Colorado UPN station (cough, Channel 20) is only airing it once now. Again, replaced by Jumanji. Ech...

What is this? Pre-orders are being taken for the Ghostbusters DVD? Don't give in to the dark side yet- I noticed that the same site is taking pre-orders for the Titanic DVD, and being that it hasn't officially been announced as being in production, I think it's not wise to fork over money to this company (I'd post their address, but getting sued for liable would really suck right now) ;)

People have been asking about the progress of the Test Track. I'm still really learning the ropes of Macromedia Director, since the Test Track is basically Java and Shockwave based, but as soon as I've got a nice final copy of the Test Track, it will be made publically available.

Oh, I think a Terror Dog ate the weekend's update (actually I was up in the mountains skiing, but don't tell!) ;) But don't forget, GBHQ is now updated daily!!!
