Just a friendly reminder to set those VCRs ~ that is if you get the Starz! channel. Ghostbusters airs tomorrow, perhaps for the last time this month on the channel. Don't miss it!

More Ghostbusters DVD news, sources say that the Ray Parker Jr. video will only be made available to Columbia Tri-Star if they dish out some serious royalty fees to Mr. Jr. (Mr. Jr. I like!). Not to say that I don't blame him- what else is he known for? I remember we once went to his concert about five years ago and paid five dollars for the tickets... not once did he sing Ghostbusters.

Real Ghostbusters fans; Fox Family has been airing some of my favorite episodes lately, what are your thoughts on their choices of eps? Let me know and I'll post your comments after the weekend.

P.S. Columbia Tri-Star Home Video... there's 14 days 'till X-Mas, you think Santa could surprise us with a quick release of Ghostbusters 2 on DVD to tide us over until the GB: Special Edition is released? ;)

The truth is on this website Scully... I've been coming under fire from ripping apart the sites that are starting rumors to attract attention to their website, and even if they're not doing it on purpose, they're trusting sources who are using the website for their own personal gain. Anyhow, I will repeat my statements earlier said- this is not a sewing table, I don't trust rumors that are so far fetched without checking them out with reliable sources. I have very good reson to believe that the website that was posting names like Dennis Miller and Bob Newhart is receiving credible information, just for a different project that a source has mistaken for Ghostbusters 3. Anyhow... off the soapbox- again.

Extreme Ghostbusters is now airing ONCE a week as opposed to twice a week. Geez, and they wonder why it never suceeded, they've always given it the short end of the stick with no advertising at all.

Yahoo has started a serice in which they will hunt down items that are hard to find and send you price quotes from places on the 'net that are selling the item, very similar to American Express' Platnum Card Member Services. Among these items, you guessed it, they will track down the soundtrack to Real Ghostbusters. Better take 'em up on it- better than a Furby.

Special GBHQ correspondant Paul Rudoff from Spook Central helped me out by giving GBHQ a list of changes that were made to the third Pan and Scan version of GB that aired on Starz! last week (and will also be airing again on the 12th). Turns out that Starz! might have a different version than anyone's seen before. Anyhow- I'm still all for the widescreen version.

According to one of my good sources, Harold has finished his breakdown of the script and we're looking at a final script for GB3 being turned in to Sony by the end of the year. Also, in response to some of the mail that I've been getting about the Cinescape article and the "mysterious" website (I won't mention names, it's not fair) that was posting a bunch of rumors which are either untrue or pertain to some other project other than Ghostbusters 3, none of the rumors of David Spade as the voice of Slimer are true. My source just kind of chuckled and said, "Never... never... never..." ;)

For those of you who missed that date for prodcution to begin in New York, you can check out the full report in the news archives for November 30, 1998 - December 8, 1998.

And, those who have been having problems with the e-mail form on my page (since I changed it to do direct e-mail) the problems have been fixed and I'm still using CGI-Free's Mailer now. Feel free to drop me a line and let me know what you think.
