TOP STORY- Brewed out-
Castewar has pointed out the recent lawsuit to the producers of Strange Brew 2, the sequel to the original Brew film with Rick Moranis and Dan Aykroyd which has halted production. Pitty, means that Dan and Rick can focus on more important sequels (cough) (cough).

TOP STORY- Site Updates!
Okay, well- Ghostbusters HQ was first to break with all the news this week, and, well guess what? It's time for more site updates! Check out the all-new TOUR OF THE HOOK AND LADDER No. 8 firehouse courtesy of Aeropastel. Fan Art in the GBHQ Museum of Fine Art continues to be one of the most popular areas to place talents. All this and the bag of chips with today's update! (Oh, and by the way, even though there isn't a counter on GBHQ, visitors to the site have TRIPLED in the past week, as have the number of eBay Ghostbusters auctions, ladies and gents, GB is back).
3rd Annual Birthday Bash
Some of you have noticed that I've started plugging my birthday on Sept. 21. Well, it's not because I'm vain. It's been a NetSolo tradition to treat fans to a day of coolness just because it's my birthday. It started back when I hosted chats for PANGEA and continues on today. For more information, see the Birthday area!

Just like to start out today's update with a correction: dates/times have been corrected for the BKN line-up on the Sci-Fi Channel as follows:

That is all. Troops dismissed.
Egon secures his future
Harold (Egon Spengler) Ramis has just signed a contract with the W(yikes)B to create an all new comedy series set in Chicago. Check out www.haroldramis.com for more information.
Art like you've never seen
Check out the GBHQ Museum of Fine Art for a special guest appearance by Mr. Spooky himself... yikes, call the GBs in on this case! Also of note, all Ghostbusters International Firehouses must be registered by tonight at midnight, no later! If you don't see your house on the website, but DID send the email, DON'T WORRY. I'm running behind and should be caught up tomorrow with the Firehouses.

TOP STORY- Doh!
Okay, okay, many (no everyone) is sending in their suggestions for cast members for Ghostbusters 3. Among one of the coolest was Rodie's suggestion that non other than Homer Simpson be considered for a role in the new film. "Not convinced?" Rodie says, "Take a look at this." And he sent along his picture of Homer in full Ghostbusters regailia. Click the picture at the left for the full image, or head over to the fan art section.
The battle for popularity also continues on alt.movies.ghostbusters as my suggestion, Bruce Campbell seems to be the topic of debate. Is he crispy or is he limp? NetSolo says WAY CRISPY, head over to alt.movies.ghostbusters to voice your opinions.
DVD- not a winner!
Proton Charging has reported that the Ghostbusters DVD DIDN'T win the two discus that it was nominated for this year. Head over to Proton Charging (after you check out GBHQ, of course) Which, by the way, Ghostbusters International has been updated again!

TOP STORY- More suggestions for cast members
I've been hearin' ya loud and clear Ghostheads, and though I don't agree with a lot of the choices some of you have for Ghostbusters 3 cast members, well- here they are. Adam Sandler (no thanks, he's funny and all, but not a GB), Chris Rock (three words, Lethal Weapon 4 it's been done), Jackie Chan (don't think so, but cute), David Spade (ech, thought we put that one to rest), Tom Green (no comment), Trey Parker (it's a family film too), Samuel L Jackson (I'm there), Bruce Campbell (hey, wasn't he MY idea?). And not to mention all the female choices for Ghostettes including Shawnee Smith (no complaints from me, just as long as she'll marry me first), Kim Delany (NYPD Boo?), and Carrie Fisher (newer and... younger?). Thanks for all your emails, keep 'em coming! Personally, I would have liked to see Natalie Portman listed, but hey, she's too busy finishing college so she can live in CA with me. :)
Site update!
Whew, I deserve a metal or something, IMing fellow Ghostheads while at the same time doing this massive site update? Wow- anyhow, check out the fan art based GBHQ Museum of Fine Art, as well as the Ghostbusters International RPG as teams are beginning to form and take shape. The Extreme Ghostbusters site was updated? In other news, GBHQ will be documenting the production of a replica proton pack and Ghostbusters costume coming up here for Halloween and what's that Ziggy? Journal of a Ghostbuster receives another installment? Have we lost our minds?
