 TOP STORY- Technical Difficulties

  If you're reading this, you're one of the lucky few- InternetJump, the fast.to provider seems to be having problems (ie. there ain't nobody getting through to my site). I'm working on it as we speak, trying to email the InternetJump webmasters to see what's the dillyo.  TOP STORY- Ghostbusters to hit select theaters October

  According to Frank Hallowell of the Denver United Artists, the original Ghostbusters will be gracing the silver screen again this October in select theaters. "I'm not sure if it's nationwide," says Hallowell. "but we've been told that Ghostbusters will be re-released for a few select screens in time for Halloween this year." Interesting food for thought.

 More firehouses added

 Letters to the Editor

  Thank you for all your letters to the editor, I've posted all of them today as well as my responses (when there was one). My email number tripled in the next couple days, yet I'm still responding to all of them! Keep 'em coming! Also, we're in need of legal advice for the Ghostbusters T-Shirts, anyone with the ability to help with licensing, or some sort of permissions, please email me ASAP. My attorney has informed me that he doesn't know much about licensing. Bummer.

With everyone talking about their ideas for casting Ghostbusters 3, I just thought that I would share my idea with you all again, how about Samuel L. Jackson and Bruce (a.k.a. this is my Boomstick) Campbell? Not convinced, try a picture on for size (thanks to Jay Young).

 SECOND UPDATE- Talk, ya know it!

  Just thought that I would point out the current Talkback section going on at Harry's Aint-It-Cool-News. Seems that they are discussing Ghostbusters being the "perfect comedy" of all-time. Who am I to argue? Head over there and talk, tell 'em Net sent ya (but make sure ya do it AFTER you're done here at GBHQ)!

 TOP STORY- More hate mail!

  Another hate mail of the week type day yesterday. Glad to know that Ghostbusters HQ is such a disservice to the GB community. I'd like to share the email and my response here on the page for the general good of GBHQ viewers, if there are others out there that feel the same way, here's your response. I'd like to hear your comments.

 TOP STORY- Another (gasp) Cinescape

  Yes, that's right, another issue of Cinescape, and not one mention of Ghostbusters... but their magazine is so reliable, so up to date, so accurate, that they mention Jan De Bont being up for the director's chair for Jurassic Park 3. WTG, Cinescape, Joe Johnson thanks you.

 Talking with a legend

  While discussing the current status of sequels in Hollywood with a good friend of mine and self proclaimed movie analysist, Tom Depowski he mentioned the fact that he's heard through the grapevine that he's heard Sony Pictures is "rushing ahead with sequels to Men in Black and Ghostbusters," geez Tom, and I wasn't even going to mention Ghostbusters!

  Okay folks (that is, Ghostheads, Ghostettes, and Ghosttikes) here's what's been updated today! Take a look at the Ghostbusters International Role Playing game, see if your firehouse has been added!  TOP STORY- Netmeister returnith!

 

He's back and ready to paaaartay! :) Ladies and Gents, sorry for the lack of updates, the Netster's pappa turned a well-rounded 50 this past week, and this week was dedicated to him. Anyhow, looks like I've been out of the loop a while- Proton Charging has dug up some info on the Ghostbusters Ray Parker Jr. disc... he's learned that only one track will include Ghostbusters and that the son of a bitch that told me otherwise has dropped his internet account- sorry, did I say that out loud? ;)

Also over at the big PC (Proton Charging, not a Windoze based machine like you were thinking you techno geek, you) he's uploaded the review of the Ghostbusters DVD from Playboy magazine, which leads a shocking revelation, hense my reaction to the review as "my God- there's articles in that magazine?" ;)

 Larger update tomorrow, now for sleep!

  Okay, so it's been one hecktic week, sorry- I need at least two hours of sleep tonight. But tomorrow's update is going to be grand, with Fan Art, additions to the GBIN Role-Playing game, some brand spankin' new Ghostbusters 3 information, and the Spook Central telethon ripoff! (Yes, I've taken my main man Paul's idea to Save Spook Central and will use it with a twist- Buy Troy a Car!) Muuuuuu haaaaa haaaaa haaaaaa! (Sorry, I need sleep- sorry Paul) :)

 TOP STORY- GBHQ gets some needed organization

  Serious GBHQ updates today, take a look at the registration which begins today for Ghostbusters International. Also updated today were the news archives as well as Journal of a Ghostbuster. GBHQ will also be slowly remodeling to prepair for the new year starting this month.

 RGB gets "imprisoned"

  In other news, the Real Ghostbusters has been moved recently on Fox Family Channel has been given the "imprisonment" time slot according to a Ghostbusters HQ visitor associated with Neilson Ratings company. "The early morning time slot is normally trouble for a show, a smaller audience has the ability to watch the show so early in the morning. Real Ghostbusters, though it has a great 'breakfast' time slot on the east coast, has been given a deathtrap of a timeslot on the western and central regions. I'd be surprised if it lasts there, if Fox was wise, they would move it ahead at least an hour, considering that if kids really wanted to watch the show in California, they'd have to be up at four or five in the morning before school." Ick- for the love of God, just somebody give us a straight answer!!! Sorry, a little breakdown there, but I'm alright, don't nobody worry 'bout me. Head over to ghostbusters.com for the results of the Ask Ivan contest. More importantly, stay here at GBHQ for the answer to the question that I KNOW that you'll be skimming the results for:

Q. Is there going to be a GHOSTBUSTERS 3? If
so, what have you heard about it and what role
shall you take on the project? Do you also know
of a release date or shooting dates for the film?

A. We have talked about doing "Ghostbusters
3", but nothing is set. If we were to go ahead
with the project, I would probably produce the
film, not direct it.
