 Check out the official cardboard
standee that is being sent to select retail chains and a few
video rental stores throughout the country. It looks, rather
odd- but the picture is also at an interesting angle- almost
as if it's a Star Wars type perspective. Click the thumbnail
for a full-sized pic. |

| Same concept, different approach |
| |
GBHQ,
the leader in information reguarding Ghostbusters
2120, the all-new GB television series in the works by Ghostheads
such as yourself is pleased to announce that the approach to
the show has changed in order to make the show more appealing
as well as speed up production- instead of being a fully computer
generated animated show, GB2120 will be a live-action/CG show
mixing live footage with the latest technology in computer animation.
Screen tests and more information will be announced both through
the official site and the HQ, so keep checking back Ghostheads!

| Guess who's back on Sci-Fi? |
| |
Thanks
to GBHQ scooper Darth Varnar for the tip, Extreme
Ghostbusters is returning to the Sci-Fi Channel on February 21
with "Casting the Runes." It took me forever and a
day to confirm it, but check out SFC's website for the program
guide. Also returning is the ultra-cool Starship Troopers cartoon

| Scream 3, wasn't Sydney supposed to
die? |
| |
We
saw Scream 3 last night and I must say it was a fitting end to
the trilogy, but wasn't Sydney Prescott (Neve Campbell) supposed
to die? I thought the whole controversy was that it was her last
one and her character was killed? Oh well, let
me know what you heard, Ghostheads! |

GBHQ
will have the first trailer online to Ghostbusters:
Inner Demons online within the next few days, the delay is
not in production, but rather the US Mail system (the tape has
yet to arrive here). Keep checking back, Brandon promises that
it's worth the wait! |

 You've
waited for it- it's finally out, the repackaged (non-cellophane)
boxed set of Ghostbusters
and Ghostbusters II on DVD
(see my review here).
This thing is wicked cool, with the new cardboard box it makes
a great addition to the DVD shelf.
The HQ will have links available in the GBHQ Online Store
a little bit later today to purchase the pack as well as a special
interview- so check back a little later today, Ghostheads!

Okay,
so I'm still playing with the colors and the look and feel of
the new front page, you're not smoking crack (or you are, either
way, more power to ya), I've also added time stamps to the updates
because, you got it, more than one update a day is comin' atchya. |

He's
onto the whole Bruce Campbell as a Ghostbuster thing too- check
out his area in the Museum of Fine Art! |
| |
Sorry
for the lack of updates, it's been an incredibly weird and hard
few days. Things'll be back to normal starting today. |
| Anyone here a doctor? Comedy to mix
with health. |
| |
They
say that it's healthy and good for you to laugh- which is why
I guess that Comedy Central and "Rx-Laughter" are teaming
up for a new study to research comedy effecting the general health
of terminally-ill patients. How does this relate to the GBs?
Two ways... one of the case study's, according to a friend close
to CC will be a showing of Ghostbusters (hey, the GB's helping
out the sick, how cool is that?) as well as donations for the
project benefiting the Chris Farley and Gilda Radner memorial
funds which the good doctors have set up. Check out the full
details here: |
| Bruce Campbell WOULD be interested
in GB3 |
| |
We
all know that Ghostbusters 3 is WAY down the line, but according
to Justin Whipkey, a frequent GBHQ visitor and frequent haunter
of the Bruce Campbell website, Bruce might not be too much of
a dream character for the Netmeister. Through an e-mail response
Bruce told Justin "I'd go for it if offered," Check
out Bruce Campbell's official website for more at http://www.bruce-campbell.com |
| GBHQ video project update |
| |
Just
a friendly reminder to look for the all-new video version of
the Interdimensional Crossrip news here on the HQ within the
next couple days, as well as the revealing of the Ghostbusters:
Inner Demons teaser trailer- good stuff! |
| Incredibly cool discussion on the
boards |
| |
I
thought that I'd never be saying this again, but there's a great
discussion going on in the Ghostbusters message boards on the
origin of Slimer. Though Dan has said that he wrote the character
with the intent of remembering John Belushi in the film, it's
still pretty cool hearing people's ideas where the ugly little
spud originated from. Check it out on the Ghostbusters message
boards: |

As
many of you have already heard, GB King Bill Emkow has retired

| |

light of Bill's announcement, I've rushed the Ghostbusters HQ:2000

| Interview with the real Slimer |
| |
GBHQ's
own Brandon (aka Dr. Stantz) pulled off an interview with the
man, er woman behind the mask of Slimer Robin Navlyt on Ghostbusters
II, who according to Stantz is a "very awesome lady."
Check out the "Ghostbusters II" area for the interview!

file cabnet for who knows how long, but the Ghostbusters Special
Edition DVD took home the "Best Use of DVD Features"
award in the Digital Bit's annual awards. Take a look here (offsite
