New York Mayor mentions Ghostbusters
Not in the public conciousness, ha! Bantha Fodder, tonight on The Late Show with David Letterman, New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani mentoned that the task forces recruited to take care of the rats don't look like men with gloves and a hammer like Dave mentioned, but rather Ghostbusters and then he proceeded to act as if using a neutrana wand! And to all those people that think Ghostbusters have been forgotten, millions of people were just reminded on the Late Show! Go freakin' Giuliani- you're one of us now! - Troy

This is it, this is definitely it...
You all knew that it was coming sooner or later, but finally the time has come for me to move out to college. This will be the last update from the home office in Franktown, Colorado and Ghostbusters HQ will be back on the air from the flipside in Dayton, Ohio. Here's some things to keep watch on while I'm gone, sort of some watchdog sites for you to take a look at until I return on the 4th or 5th of September. First and foremost, keep checking the Ghostbusters Message Board, there's a new joint venture project between all the large Ghostbusters webmasters on the horizon, something big, something that the HQ has been trying to do for several years now and it looks as if it might actually happen. Secondly, keep an open eye on the McFarlane Toys website in the next couple of days. The ol' Netmeister has been hearing some whispers, and Ghostbusters fans will DEFINITELY want to be rooting for Todd McFarlane in his upcoming court appeals case. Trust me on this one. And while I'm gone, let McFarlane Toys know your support of Ghostbusters based figures, Hasbro representative Andy@Hasbro told Star Wars fans, "We encourage you to stay vocal about your most-wanted figures. If we hear the same thing from enough collectors, who knows- we might just make that particular character." Lastly, keep checking back here for more on Ghostbusters HQ's move to the domain realm as GBHQCE Neil Vitale moves us onto his new webhosting provider where you'll be able to access Ghostbusters HQ more easily and more effectively at www.ghostbustershq.com.

When I get back, there will be new surprises in store for the HQ, including the opening of the Real Ghostbusters area, and announcements reguarding this joint-venture previously mentioned. PLUS! New columns from myself, new column writer Matt Rude, and Brandon Kleyla.

In the meantime, peace- I'm outta here! College here I come, HQ is going on a Road Trip!

- Troy
