STORY: National Lampoon's NetSolo European Vacation:
Concluded
Hey Ghostheads around the globe, I'm back from Europe and not without incident, the hotel maid ripped me off from inside my own hotel room. Ungreatful little yuppy larva! Anyways, I'm busily working on a few new projects for Ghostbusters HQ, the main concern making the transition to the new server with the new domain name at www.ghostbustershq.com run smoothly, quickly and quiety. As you know, there's been disturbances for years. Also in the works is a Code of Ethics for the Ghostbusters HQ which I am writing up based on very popular and streamlined journalism codes of ethics to make sure that you, the GBHQ visitor are insured only the best. Enjoy the updates! - Troy
Mistaken
identity causes a few to wonder if Murray is considering a career change
If you follow the press release wires closely, or if you're a freqent reader of the newspaper, you might have seen the headline Oco Inc. Hires Bill Murray to Lead Applications Development and been interested to see that the article mentioned nothing of Murray's illustrious film career but described him as:
Murray has more than 18 years of experience in software development. For 16 of those years, he worked as a programmer and project leader developing and managing systems in the manufacturing, publishing and health care fields. During this time, Murray has had experience with financial, fulfillment and inventory management systems.
If you haven't caught on yet, it's not him. But you n ever know, maybe that post-Ghostbusters 3 denial depression has set in. . . naw.... But if you're interested in learning more about this other Murray who is NOT affiliated with the actor, you can visit the Oco Inc. website at www.oco-inc.com (outside link, GBHQ not responsable for content)

Gone
in 60 Seconds and Ghostbusters have a mutual cousin
Overseas visitors are about to be able to see the release of Nic Cage's Gone in 60 Seconds, while in the States the film has been out for a month or so now, but did you know that Gone in 60 Seconds and Ghostbusters have a mutual relative? No, no, not the high adriniline rush of the new Gone in 60 Seconds but the original version's sequel which was released in the late 80s, in which many of the car designs and the car supervisor on Gone in 60 Seconds 2: The Junkman was none other than George Barris who you might recognize as the man who's responsible for designing the Ectomobile. And while the new Gone in 60 Seconds is a far cry from the low budget original films, they're definitely worth checking out. Then watch the credits in the sequel and say, "HEy, I know that guy!" - Troy
Chad Paulson from over at the Ghostbusters Central website has asked fellow webmasters to remind people of the Real Ghostbusters "Wassup" commercial that he put together. If you haven't seen it yet, I would definitely recommend downloading it. And while Chad has asked us to link to his page at http://www.gbcentral.com/true, the HQ also was given permission way back when the clip was originally released to house a copy on our server in case his is busy at http://ghostbusters.hispeed.com/gbhq/media/wassup (and, subsequently, is also in the GBHQ's vast media archives) this is a MUST for Ghostheads to see! - Troy
