Hook and Ladder No. 8 gets rennovated

Hi, my name is Matt and I recently took a trip to NYC over the summer in July. I went with a bunch of friends. We made a point of stopping at the old H&L. I got a chance to talk to the firemen and asked them at little bit about the whole GB aura around the place. I asked them if they heard anything about a third Ghostbusters movie. They said that most of them that were there hadn't been there durng the filming of scences at the firehouse. They were told that they, if a third movie were too be made, they had enough footage of the firehouse and probably wouldn't have to do much filming at all, if any, if in deed, there was a third film. I have included a picture that I took while I was there. You'll notuce some scaffolding in front of the firestation. They said that it is quite an old building and they are having structural difficulties with it. It was built before the subways were in full use and now that there are two tunnels underneath it and there are 3 ton trains moving at 40-60 miles an hours in the tunnels, they are shaking the building and it is starting to fall apart. NYC is doing everything they can to keep the building in one piece and in use. Just thought I'd pass the info on. Take it easy.
