Ghostbusters II widescreen VHS version?
As many of you know with the DVD and VHS re-releases of Ghostbusters, only the first film got the widescreen treatment on VHS. The HQ figured that since the second film basically got the shaft on DVD goodies, it only made sense that CTHV didn't release a widescreen VHS video either. However Paul Rudoff of Spook Central chimes in with some news from Diamond Comics that a Ghostbusters II Widescreen video was originally offered to retail stores to order, but was cancelled in May. Nothing special but I guess that it does go to show that CTHV doesn't look AS LOWLY on the second film as it appeared that they did. - Troy
Scariest Places on Earth address
In case you'd like to take up Neil's previous advice to suggest to Fox Family that they recruit the cast of Ghostbusters to conquer the Scariest Places on Earth, here's the Public Relations address for you to write a letter to. I'm also looking into contacting the production company personally to make the suggestion on Ghosthead's behalf: TRIAGE ENTERTAINMENT 15260 VENTURA BLVD. SUITE #700 SHERMAN OAKS. CA 91403- Troy
Site tidbits
Ghostbusters HQ has won another award. 2 years in a row we've won the Golden Web Award, the prestigious "Who's Who on the Internet" award. Also check out a new update on Ghostbusters.net from Chad Paulson. One last comment: The HQ will be on vacation from September 5-9 so that I can move back to the east coast for school (we'll be taking another short break in December for me to move to the west coast for school as well). - Troy
