So, is this the end Ghostheads?
Many people fear the news which, unfortunately I have not posted until now (a friend came in from out of town and surprised me and I wanted to spend the weekend with her). But yes Ghostheads, Dan Aykroyd is seriously considering retirement, if not officially announcing it. According to a recent interview/article with the Candadian paper Globe and Mail (which you can view in full here), Aykroyd stated, "I'd like to find and choose the last vehicle and exit on a really high, graceful, substantial note in film. I don't feel compelled and driven, career-wise." He continues with, "At 49 years old, I'm really feeling sedentary, reclusive. I really just want to just shut everything down for a while."So, should his last hurrah be Ghostbusters 3? That's what I say, and I've already sent him a letter expressing my support, I suggest if you have the time and the means that you do the same. If he's going to go out, he might as well do it on a project he feels strongly towards and will have fun with. - Troy
