But where was Happy Gilmore?
Be sure to check out a great new re-release of Groundhog Day on DVD. This one actually has enough materials to warrent it the name of 'Special Edition', with a Directors Commentary by the infamous Harold Ramis. But, that's not the point of this note. The point, is how many of you are Golf Fans? Pebble Beach National Pro-Am Show..the name says it all. I've been up later than usual, latley, watching Letterman, and the ever rarer viewing of the Craig Killborn show, when they interupt his show with sports updates. They show a shot of Bill Murray accepting 'donations' from the crowd. Strangley enough, this golf audience dosn't seem too surprised, being the fact that this kind of thing must happen all the time out there. - TheShredder

One quick update as I get ready for the big move this Thursday to Los Angeles, Dan Aykroyd is slated to host a new "talk-show" on the Sci-Fi Channel called "Dan Aykroyd's Out There." The show will feature true stories of paranormal activities and begins airing later this year. Sounds incredibly promising!!! - Troy

Once again the page is neglected
My apologies Ghostheads, the page has once again been neglected from updates as I have moved from Ohio back to Colorado and am preparing for the second leg of the journey to California. Updates will once again become more frequent once I'm settled in and starting a clean slate in LA.

I would, however, also like to point out that The Other Side of Heaven, the film which I had the pleasure of working on two summers ago is nearing release in two weeks. The film starring Chris Gorham (A Life Less Ordinary), Anne Hathaway (The Princess Diaries), Nat Lees (Lord of the Rings, Matrix: Reloaded) is set to open Christmas week nationwide and will actually be my first screen credited film as well. I encourage you to check out the website at www.othersideofheaven.com for more details. Until next time Ghostheads! Here's hoping the news circuit on the Ghostbusters side starts to open up again! - Troy

To Tell the Truth... Nancy
Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving....as for me, Christmas lights go on Saturday. Mostly considering the fact that it looks like the last nice, warm day that the East Coast will get. The south is spoiled, it's very rare we get 60 degree days in November.

Anyway, I was flipping the channels trying to find something to watch, and I came across a Gameshow called To Tell the Truth. I'm not sure about the exact rules of the game, but the basis of it is; Three guest contestants, 4 celebrity panelists. The Celebs have to guess who the real person is, out of the 3 guest contestants, if that made any sense. This particular show, was, "Who was the real paranormal investigator?" Naturally, you can't have a topic like this without mentioning Ghostbusters. Apparently, one of the celebs asked one of the guests the words to the main GB theme.

So, who was the real Paranormal investigaror out of the three pitcured above? I'll give people a chance to catch the episode today, so I won't spoil it, and will post the answer tommorow! In the meantime, send us your guess and we'll post the results tommorow as well. Those little X's in front of each contestant are the counts of the final guess that the celeb contestant made. Each one at the end has to choose wich one he or she thinks is the real deal. The audience also votes to add to the tally. So, two celebs thought #2 was the real PI, and 3 thought it was the third guest...

You'll have to wait till tommorow to find out the answer! - Neil

Evoultion DVD on the way!
GBHQ frequent contributor Ryan LeClair sends in a sweet tip from the folks over at the Dreamworks Fansite. December 26, 2001 who ya gonna call? Well, the next best thing in extra-terrestrial elimation that would make E.T. quake in his midget boots. Evolution makes its DVD appearance (finally) on the 26th featuring director's commentary, deleted scenes, and theatrical trailers. I'm a bit depressed that it didn't get the "signature series" treatment but all in all should prove to be a great disc! - Troy

September 11, forever embedded in history - repost
As mentioned earlier, Ghostbusters HQ sends out heartfelt condolences to those who lost their lives or who have been affected by the events on September 11. Sadly, this website has seen tragedy through the events September 11 in New York and April 20 in Littleton, Colorado (the home offices of GBHQ are in Colorado). Rarely do I let personal feelings and comments leak onto the page but 9/11 needs some mention on this page. Ghostbusters HQ would like to invite you to a photojournalistic tribute to the men and women who continue to protect and save lives throughout the country, but more specifically those from the Hook and Ladder Co. 8. - Troy
